What are your plans for this yard/garden?

The property was vacant for five weeks and is knee deep in leaves and sticks. The line is where I took a break in clearing tens of thousands if not hundreds of thousands of oak, maple and dogwood leaves.

The fenced in part is left over from when we had dogs many years ago. The entire yard comprises an acre, with 16 full grown oaks and five maples.

I already took my pain killers tonight.

The joys of deciduous trees. Personally I would love it. But that's just me. I have 1 deciduous and the rest are - not. Well, the Sissoo's purportedly shed some leaves in winter - but I have heard different stories on that - ie: that they grow, if ever-so-slowly, throughout the winter to the claim that they go dormant.
More research is necessary. Whatever the end of it is, there are over 20 of them planted on my property with other trees planted as well. And yes - that makes me happy : )

It's so nice to have your own back yard, as I remember from my own, decades ago. :)

Well Sunny, I am now blessed with two back yards, totalling close to three acres and with countless trees of various kinds.

Down in dixie, we just got a self propelled mower which bags leaves. Would LOVE to have it here for a day or two.........

Well - you could rent one I'm sure and probably even have it delivered.
