Five people have been cleaning my house for six hours now, almost non-stop.

It is a mixed blessing. The house has never looked so good, but I may never find anything of mine ever again.

They will be back again tomorrow.

Perhaps you could say a few words to catch us up on what happened to your house? Five people working for 6-hours is a lot of cleaning!

Did they also clean the moat and the stables or just the main castle? Finally found you through Sunny's blog. Happy New Year!

WOW! What kind of "oilspill" did you have? Sounds rough!

Furnace malfunctioned a few hours and created a film of oil on all the surfaces inside the house. Before it is done, all clothing etc will need to go to cleaners and several rooms will need to be repainted. This has happened before and is a major mess. Right now I am looking to see where they may have put my boarding pass for my one flight on Concorde, which was on the refrigerator door. *sigh*

And Happy New Year to you too Chimp. Glad you stopped by. And Hiya Kit and Arwen. Happy New Year to you as well!

The Concorde, sigh... I do hope it turns up tomorrow.

Thanks Angel. I have a fuzzy picture of it, and if it does not turn up, I will likely write to them for a replacement which they might do as a courtesy.

Thanks all. My life is usually pretty serene and stress-free [well, for the most part!]

So into every life etc. It could have been SO much worse.

Last time (1986) ... it was!!
