I just read in the news this was the Hottest June in terms of the Earth's tempatures...I had a new record Electrical bill (361.00) so it had to have been hot as hell...I went back and re- programmed my programmable thermostats.
This summer's been a killer so far, and it's not even August yet! I'll be happy to get through it without a hurricane. I think we're safe, but people are still worried. We were fortunate to have a 25 year break between Alechia and Ike. We'll see what happens!

For most of my life I have lived without air conditioning, not even using it in my car.
But I'll tell you -- this past 2 weeks, I have been darn glad to have a little window unit to spare me from afternoon triple digit temps.
