I haven't seen that many puppies ever. I know they are nice dogs but boy howdy they are large. Hopefully many of them went to nice homes. I'll betcha they are the perfect dog for children.
Sadly, most of these puppies are now old and possibly beyond. It was a long time ago when the pair of St Bernards that we kept as pets produced a litter of 14 puppies, which have to be some of the cutest puppies I ever saw. I came across the photo totally by accident recently, while looking for something else.
One too many I would think, lol. I remember when our dog gave birth to her puppies, 12 to be exact...I could hardly believe it.Then again watching this act was by far the most amazing thing. They came from their mother's bushy tail and dragged themselves to her chest to feed.It was amazing. How do they know?

oh my... how cute!! My parent's dog once had 12 puppies! and they all survived.
St Bernards remain one of my favorite breeds, but kind of impractical in many ways.

And to whom do these cute puppies belong? I do hope they all go to good home with love and compassion in mind!
And a pretty hefty dog food cost at the checkout lane !
My first daughter and her husband bought a "pedigree" St Bernard for my 1st grandson.
How's it going these days?
You know- for a moment there I was thinking Hound Dawg had been REALLY busy heeehee.. That is a LOT of puppies.
